Monroe, LA---The Grambling State Lady Tigers volleyball team fell tonight, 0-3, to ULM in the Warhawks Activity Center.

 

Though dropping the straight sets (25-14, 25-17, 25-12) the Lady Tigers, winless on the year, continued to show improvement. April Johnson collected six kills and two blocks for the contest to lead the Lady Tigers while DaVarika Johnson had three kills and a team-leading seven assists. Chelsee Goins picked up 18 digs.

 

Zuzana Markova had game highs of 10 kills and 15 assists with eight digs to lead the Warhawks. Blanco Ocana had nine kills and seven digs, while Meghan McCoy recorded 14 assists.

 

The Lady Tigers (0-7) will return to action this weekend as they remain close to home to participate in the Louisiana Tech Invitational.
