Grambling, La. (October 31, 2012) –This weekend the Grambling State University Tiger Football team will celebrate "High School Day" as they host Jackson State University at 2 p.m.

Last year the Tigers defeated Jackson State on the road 26-23, when Dawrence Roberts scored from 10 yards out with 1:24 remaining in the game. This win was the fifth consecutive victory for the G-Men over Jackson State.  

The last time that the Tigers lost to Jackson State during the regular season at home was in 2004 when they G-Men fell 32-23. The Tigers will try to beat Jackson for the sixth consecutive time this Saturday and try to spoil the championship hopes of Jackson State.

Jackson State University (4-4 overall, 4-2 SWAC East) is in a must win situation if they want to keep their SWAC Championship hopes alive. Grambling State University (1-7 overall, 0-6 SWAC West) is not only trying to knock Jackson State out of the championship hunt, but they are also trying to pick up their first SWAC win of the season. "As coaches we have to find a way to win", said GSU Head Coach Doug Williams. "We have three games left in the season and we want the guys to continue to practice and play hard and to get a win."

Tickets for the big game will be on sale at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Thursday and 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday. Tickets will be on sale on game day at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center starting at 10 a.m. General Admission tickets will also be on sale at gates 3, 4, and 5 on gameday starting at 10 a.m.

Those fans that would like to tailgate or bring their RV that already do not have season passes can purchase their spots beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.
