RUSTON, La. (Football) – The Grambling State University football program hosted a Pro Day for its senior athletes who were looking to catch the eye of National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL) scouts on Tuesday morning. The event was hosted at Ruston High School in Ruston, La. The Tigers also had two athletes participated in Louisiana Tech University's pro day.
Grambling's 14 seniors participated in a series of events such as the 40 yard dash and the 225 lbs. bench press to showcase their talents to professional league talents seekers. In total, there were 28 NFL and three CFL scouts present. The seniors participating were:

Each G-Man had a turn to impress the scouts with their prowess and they did not disappoint. Three Tigers did exceptionally well.
Chad Williams recorded the fastest 40 yard dash with a time of 4.37 seconds and most repetitions on the bench press at 225 lbs. with 21. Reese finished with the second highest number of repetitions on the bench at 225 lbs. with 20. Stallworth had the highest vertical jump of the group as he reached 33.5 inches.
The Tigers are in the midst of spring practices and preparing for the Black and Gold Game on Saturday, April 1.
