Ivy Smith, Jr., who was selected the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) College Madness Player of the Week on Monday, averaged 25.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals in victories over Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern. He averaged 48.6 percent (18-of-37) shooting from the floor in the two contests. Smith scored 28 points, on 9-of-16 shooting, with six assists, five rebounds and five steals in a 90-85 road victory over Prairie View A&M.
