Hailey Haynes was selected the Grambling State University Female Athlete of the Week after she batted .533, slugged .867 and had an on-base percentage of .632 in five games. She went 8-for-15 at the plate with 10 RBIs and seven runs scored. She belted five doubles and drew four walks. Haynes went 2-for-2, with four RBIs and a pair of doubles in a 17-3 win over Texas College.

After her big week at the plate, Haynes currently leads the SWAC with six doubles and is second in the league with 11 RBIs.
