David Parker was named the Grambling State University Male Athlete of the Week.

Parker finished tied for first, but placed second due to the tiebreaker, in the high jump at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays, hosted by Mississippi State University. He jumped 2.05m (6-feet, 8.75 inches) to take second.
