Furqani Al-Amin was selected the Grambling State University Female Athlete of the Week.

Al-Amin competed at the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Texas State University, over the weekend. She finished 12th in the hammer throw at 45.04m, and captured 17th in the shot put, with a toss of 11.81m.
