Grambling State University Athletics

Tia Coleman was named the Grambling State University Female Athlete of the Week.

Coleman batted .500, with an on-base percentage of .600 and a .900 slugging percentage. She went 5-for-10 at the plate with a team-high 8 RBIs and six runs scored. The sophomore Bastrop, La. native finished the week with one double and one homer (grand slam), along with three walks. Defensively, she recorded nine putouts and had five assists.
