Percy Cargo, Jr. was selected the Grambling State University Department of Athletics Male Student-Athlete of the Week.

Cargo, a native of Donaldsonville, La., led the Tigers with nine tackles, including five solo stops in a 22-16 loss to Prairie View A&M at the State Fair Classic. He recovered one fumble and had one interception, which was returned for 15 yards, in the first quarter.
