Kevreion Ward was selected the Grambling State University Department of Athletics Female Student-Athlete of the Week.
Ward, who earned the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, led Grambling State to a 2-1 record in its past three matches, compiling 37 kills over the course of those matches. The 5-foot-9 native of Belle Rose, La. put away 10 or more kills each match, including a 16-kill effort in Grambling State's four-set victory over Prairie View A&M. Ward hit a sparkling .615 in that match, committing just errors in 13 sets. Overall, she posted a .333 attack percentage, averaging 2.85 kills per set.
