Grambling State University Athletics

Geremy Hickbottom was selected the Grambling State University Male Student-Athlete of the Week.

Hickbottom, a native of Mobile, Ala., had a career night in a 62-7 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State. He threw for 297 yards (career high) on 16-of-24 passing with three touchdowns. He threw touchdown passes of 38, 46 and 60 yards (Devohn Lindsey, Quintin Guice, and Lyndemian Brooks). In addition to three passing touchdowns, Hickbottom led the Tigers' ground game with six carries for 71 yards and three touchdowns.
