Brittany Terry was named the Grambling State University Female Student-Athlete of the Week.
Terry, who was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Defensive Player of the Week, continued to be an anchor on the backline that has not yielded a goal in 390 minutes of play, including four straight shutouts. This weekend, she helped contribute to a pair of shutout wins versus Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern, as Terry and the Lady Tiger defense held the Texas schools to an average of 5.5 shots per game and were 0-for-11 in shot attempts. In addition, the Grambling defense only surrendered two corner kicks on the weekend.
