Danquarian Fields was selected the Grambling State University Male Student-Athlete of the Week.

Fields, who was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Defensive Player of the Week, had a huge defensive game for the Tigers as Grambling State outlasted Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 45-38, in overtime on Saturday. The Arcadia, La. native racked up 18 total tackles, including eight solo stops. In addition, he tallied a half of a tackle for a loss of one yard.
