Geremy Hickbottom was named the Grambling State University Male Student-Athlete of the Week.

Hickbottom, who was named the Bayou Classic Grambling State MVP, led the team in rushing with 60 net yards on 19 carries, with a pair of scores. Through the air, Hickbottom was 18-of-30 passing for 188 yards, with one touchdown and one interception in Grambling State’s 38-28 loss to rival Southern.
