D'Maria Matthews was named the Grambling State University Female Student-Athlete of the Week.

Matthews pitched in three games over the weekend and compiled a 2-1 record at the Black and Gold Spring Tournament, hosted by Alabama State. She recorded two complete games and registered a 0.89 ERA in 15.2 innings pitched. In addition, she fanned four in the three outings.
