Box Score Grambling– Grambling State University Men's basketball team won their home game opener last night against Lyon College with a final score of 55-49.
 
Lyon College's Devonte Young was the leading scorer of the game with 20 points. Young also had two steals. Another leader was Ben Worlow, who scored eight points and had one block and two steals.
 
For the  Tigers,  No. 1 A'Torri Shine lead the team with 14 points, one block and one steal.  Richard Freeman had 11 points and one block.  No. 24 Mark Gary was also another leading scorer who secured 15 points in 12 minutes.
 
With their first win of the season, the Tigers will now prepare for their next opponent, Purdue University Nov. 20 at 7 p.m.
