                 GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University women's soccer team will take the field at 5 p.m. on Wednesday as Louisiana Tech visits the GSU Soccer Complex.
 
Grambling State (2-4-0) is looking to get back into the win column after falling to CSU Bakersfield, 2-1, on Sunday in Moraga, Calif.
 
Jordan Woodward has been stellar this season in goal as she has a 1.19 goals against average in six matches. She has registered 22 saves and has faced 80 shots.
 
Offensively, 
Kiawna Mounts, 
Janee Harris, 
Sage Nelson and 
Kaylee Holt will be looking for their second goals of the season.
 
Louisiana Tech (5-1-2) has won three out its last four games, including a 5-1 defeat of Mississippi Valley State on Aug. 27.
 
The Lady Bulldogs defeated Jacksonville State 2-0 in their last match as Elizabeth Doll and Mylene Roy-Ouelett picked up goals.
 
In goal, Courtney Tompkins and Carlotta Cartelli have split the duties. Thompson has posted a 0.47 goals against average with two shutouts and 24 saves. Cartelli is not too far behind with a 0.62 goals against average and one shutout.
 
After Wednesday's match, Grambling State will take nearly 10 days off before its next contest on Sept. 24 at home against Howard University to open Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play.
