Box Score 1 MOBILE, Ala. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team opened its season this weekend against South Alabama as the Lady Tigers dropped a 4-0 decision at Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts.

The Jaguars (3-0) picked up one point during doubles action as Yu Fujioka and Alina Zolotareva defeated
Danna Galeano and Yulila Popva, 6-1, while Patricia Martins and Maxine Palmen captured a 6-0 win over Tanyardazwa Magunje and
Keren Happuch Muswere to grab a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.

In singles action, South Alabama won at No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6 to pick up the victory.

The team teams were scheduled for a 3 p.m. match, but rained cancelled play.

Grambling State (0-2) returns to action at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6 against Northwestern State in Ruston, La.
