Box Score RUSTON, La. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team returns to the courts off a seven-day layoff as the Lady Tigers dropped a 6-0 decision to Incarnate Word on Sunday evening at the Louisiana Tech Tennis Courts.

Grambling State (3-7) picked up a doubles win at No. 3 as the team of
Keren Happuch Muswere and
Tanyaradzwa Magunje defeated Alejandra Landalcue and Jayci Stewart, 6-4. However, Incarnate Word (2-11) won at No. 1 and No. 2 to take the doubles point.

In singles action, the Cardinals won at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6 to seal the victory.
The Lady Tigers were scheduled to open the day with a match against Henderson State, but that match was postponed to a later date.

Grambling State returns to the courts on Monday with a short trip to Louisiana Tech. The match is set to begin at 4 pm.
