Box Score RUSTON, La. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team picked up a singles victory by Yuliia Popova, but it wasn't enough to upend Louisiana Tech in a 6-1 loss on Monday afternoon at the Louisiana Tech Tennis Complex.
 
The Lady Tigers (3-8) dropped the doubles point as Louisiana Tech sweep the three matches.
 
Louisiana Tech sealed the match at No. 2, No. 6 and No. 4 singles, and also earned wins at No. 1 and No. 5. Popova earned Grambling State's lone win at No. 3, defeating Claudia Oravcova, 7-5, 6-2.
