Box Score BATON ROUGE, La. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team returned to action on Saturday as the Lady Tigers dropped a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) match to Southern, 4-1.

Grambling State (3-6 overall, 2-2 SWAC) fell behind 3-0 in singles play before
Bryttish Burts picked up a win over Stephanie Mboya, but the Lady Jaguars were able to close out the match at No. 2 singles.

The Lady Tigers return to action at 12 p.m. on Saturday in Ruston, La., as Grambling State will meet Louisiana Tech. The Lady Tigers will face Henderson State and Incarnate Word on Sunday in Ruston with the matches scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively.
