GRAMBLING, La. | A total of 46 Grambling State University student-athletes earned their degrees on Friday morning at the university's 2018 fall commencement.

"We are excited that our student-athletes are graduating and about to embark on a new journey," Grambling State Director of Athletics Paul A. Bryant said. "Everything that they have learned here at Grambling State is going to prepare them for the life they have ahead of them. This is an elite group and we don't want you to settle for your current situation, but be a pioneer and pave the way for yourself or for others. We thank God for all of them and I wish them all the best in this new endeavor."
