GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University women's soccer team returns home after a season-opening four-game road trip as the Lady Tigers will meet Southern Miss and LSU Shreveport this weekend at the GSU Soccer Complex.

Grambling State (1-3-0) opened the season with a loss to Lamar, but bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Nicholls. The Lady Tigers closed out the four-game road trip with losses to Idaho and Eastern Washington.

GSU opens up a two-game homestand, starting against Southern Miss at 5 p.m. on Friday at the GSU Soccer Complex. The Golden Eagles (2-1-0) currently lead Conference-USA with 14 goals scored and an averaged 4.67 goals scored per game. Southern Miss is coming off 7-0 victories over Louisiana-Monroe and Texas Southern.

The Lady Tigers wrap up the weekend with a 5 p.m. match on Sunday against LSU Shreveport. The Pilots (1-0-0) are coming off a 5-2 victory over Lyon College and will play the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Saturday before making the trip to Grambling for the Sunday match.
