Box Score MILWAUKEE, Wis. | In front of nearly 14,000 fans, the Grambling State Tigers had its two-game win streak snapped with a 93-72 loss to Marquette at the Fiserv Forum. Junior Kelton Edwards led the Tigers with 22 points and two rebounds on 5-of-8 shooting from downtown. Senior Ivy Smith, Jr. finished with 14 points, five assists, four rebounds, two steals, and was a perfect 5-of-5 from the charity stripe.

Both Devante Jackson and Trevell Cunningham both finished with nine points apiece in the road loss. Marquette's transitional game caused problems for the Tigers all night, scoring 26 fast break points in the win.

Despite scoring just 27 first half points, Grambing picked up its pace in the second half and scored 45 points, but it wasn't enough as Marquette poured in 51 of its own in the latter stanza.

Grambling State (6-6) scored 28 points in the paint while holding the Golden Eagles to just 22 points in the paint.

The nation's leading scorer, Markus Howard, led all scorers with 26 points in the win for Marquette, who finished with a total of four scorers in double-figures.

Inside the Numbers
> Grambling State shot 42 percent (26-of-62) from the floor and 65 percent (13-of-20) from the charity stripe
> Marquette was 29-of-56 (52 percent) from the field and 19-of-30 (63 percent) from the foul line
> GSU registered 35 rebounds, including 11 on the offensive glass
> Marquette pulled down 33 rebounds, with 27 coming on the defensive end
> The Tigers finished with 28 points in the paint, 31 bench points, 10 second-chance points and nine fast break points
