Box Score LOS ANGELES, Calif. | The Grambling State University men's basketball team made a run in the second half but it wasn't enough as Loyola Marymount edged out the Tigers in a 83-67 decision on Saturday night at Gersten Pavilion.
Grambling State (4-5) trailed 47-30 at the half, but outscored the Lions 37-36 in the final half. The Tigers were led by Devante Jackson who finished with 16 points and three assists while teammate
Travon Bunch finished with a near double-double as he scored 14 points and grabbed eight boards. Fellow Tiger
Trevell Cunningham produced 10 points and dished out four assists in the loss while point guard Ivy Smith Jr. finished with eight points, five rebounds and three assists.
Eli Scott led Loyola Marymount (4-5) with a triple-double (21 points, 13 assists, 13 rebounds) while Ivan Alipiev chipped in with 12 points and three assists. Teammate Seikou Sisoho Jawara added 13 points for the Lions.
