James Cooper announced a schedule change on Monday as the expected home opener scheduled for Tuesday against Jackson State has now been pushed to Wednesday due to incoming thunderstorms.
Â
Grambling State (2-1) was set to play host to Jackson State for its 2019 home opener on Wednesday at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park, but with inclement weather scheduled into the forecast, Cooper moved the game to Wednesday. First pitch against JSU is set for 6 p.m.
