GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State University head softball coach Nakeya L. Hall announced a schedule change on Monday as inclement weather forced the postponement of Wednesday's doubleheader at Mississippi Valley State.

The Lady Tigers (6-0), off to their best start since the 2001 season, was scheduled to visit Itta Bena, Miss. on Wednesday, but inclement weather scheduled for the area has forced the postponement of the non-conference doubleheader. Hall announced the twinbill has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 9 in Itta Bena, Miss.

Grambling State returns to action on Friday as the Lady Tigers open up play at the Black & Gold Spring Tournament in Montgomery, Ala. GSU will face Alabama State and Howard on Friday, followed by games against Presbyterian and Missouri-Kansas City on Saturday.
