CLINTON, Miss. | The Grambling State University men's and women's outdoor track and field team's opened the season on Saturday at the Mississippi College Season Opener.

WOMEN'S TRACK
> In the 100m,
Chloe Robinson finished fourth, with a time of 12.67, followed by
Daneisha Curry in seventh at 12.35
>
Daneisha Curry and
Chloe Robinson placed eighth and ninth, respectively, in the 200m, with times of 26.15 and 26.41
> In the 400m,
Angelica Brown placed seventh at 1:00.91, while Marrisa Stove finished eighth at 1:01.56
>
Naomi Kiprop finished seventh in the 1,5000m run, with a time of 5:02.32 and
Halima Chepkwony was ninth at 5:11.95
>
Halima Chepkwony placed fourth in the 5,000m run, with a time of 19:15.56
> The 4x100m relay team of
Daneisha Curry,
Jeunice Maxime',
Chloe Robinson and
Rayna Whyte placed third, with a time of 48.78
> The 4x400m relay team of
Angelica Brown,
Daneisha Curry,
Jeunice Maxime' and
Chloe Robinson finished second, with a time of 4:03.07

WOMEN'S FIELD
> Victoria Walter finished fourth in the long jump, with a leap of 5.42m
>
Aneisha Bell placed second in the shot put, with a toss of 12.63m, while
Darnese Woods finished fifth at 11.76m. Tatyana Guidry was seventh, at 10.98m
> In the discus, Tatyana Guidry finished fourth, with a throw of 36.97m, while
Darnese Woods placed fifth at 34.71m
> Tatyana Guidry won the hammer throw, with a toss of 46.08m.
Aneisha Bell and
Darnese Woods finished third and sixth, respectively, with tosses of 41.20m and 31.45m

MEN'S TRACK
> Frederic Green placed fifth in the 100m, with a time of 11.08
>
Jonathon Sawyer won the 400m, with a time of 46.93
> In the 110m hurdles,
Elijah Johnson and
Albert Cain finished seventh and eighth, respectively, with times of 17.03 and 17.49
>
Devyn Deckard just missed winning the 400m hurdles as he finished second at 56.71
> The 4x100m relay team of
Evan Chambers, Federic Green,
Jonathon Sawyer and
Charles Sullivan finished first at 43.23
> The 4x400m relay team of
Evan Chambers,
Devyn Deckard, Federic Green and
Jonathan Sawyer placed third at 3:24.94
