RUSTON, La. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team completed its weekend with a 4-1 loss to Louisiana Tech on Sunday afternoon at the Louisiana Tech Tennis Complex.

Louisiana Tech took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. The Lady Techsters leading 1-0 in doubles action, the team of
Idah Longwe and
Danna Galeano defeated Ilana Tetrusahvili and Alexandria Baldizon, 6-2 to tie play at 1. However, the Lady Tigers dropped the match and the point with a loss at No. 2.

In singles play, Louisiana Tech got a win at No. 3, but
Tanyaradzwa Magunje beat Baldizon, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 to close the gap to 2-1 in the match. However, the Lady Techsters claimed the match with wins at No. 1 and No. 5.
