DALLAS, Texas | The Grambling State University men's and women's indoor track and field teams were back in action on Saturday at the Second Annual Jet Relays at Herman E. Clark Stadium.

The Grambling State women finished won the Jet Relays, while Texas Southern placed second. GSU registered 109 points, while TSU won the meet with 104 points. Prairie View A&M (78), Southern (76), Concordia (Texas) (33.5), Webber (27.5), unattached (24), Hardin-Simmons (20.5), Jarvis Christian (17), Garden City CC (16), Langston (16), Speed By Choice Elite (10), unattached (10), Texas College (8.5), Huston-Tillotson (5) and Texas Wesleyan (5) rounded out the field.

The Tigers men claimed fourth with 46 points, while Texas Southern won the meet with 124 points. Southern and Prairie View A&M captured second and third, respectively, with 68 and 62.5 points. Concordia (Texas) (41), unattached (38), Hardin-Simmons (35), Texas College (35), Webber (32), Garden City CC (26), Langston (25), Huston-Tillotson (22), Jarvis Christian (16), Science and Arts (12.5), Texas Wesleyan (6), Northwest Kansas (5) and Southwestern Assemblies of God (5) rounded out the field.

Women's Track
> In the 5,000m,
Halima Chepkwony finished second, with a time of 19:38.8, while
Winny Chirchir claimed third at 20:04.48.

> In the 400m hurdles,
Dayna Sterling captured fourth, with a time of 1:11.08, while

Dayna Sterling placed fifth, with a time of 4:37.03

> In the long jump, Victoria Walter placed third, with a leap of 5.32m
> Victoria Walter finished third in the triple jump at 11.37m
> In the shot put,
Aneisha Bell and Darnese Wood finished second and fourth, respectively, at 12.67m and 12.27m. Tatyana Guidry placed eighth at 11.57m
> Tatyana Guidry won the discus, with a toss of 47.02m.
Aneisha Bell registered a third-place finish at 40.64, while
Darnese Woods was fifth at 38.88m

Bryson Bradford was fifth at 18:05.48. Jeremiah Kimeli claimed eighth at 18:33.88
