GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State University head baseball coach James Cooper announced a change in this weekend's Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) three-game series with Prairie View A&M due to expected thunderstorms set to affect Lincoln Parish on Saturday.
 
Cooper announced on Thursday morning that Grambling State and Prairie View A&M will play a doubleheader, beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park. The two teams are expected to close out the series on Sunday with a 2 p.m. game.  
 
Grambling State (14-18 overall, 9-6 SWAC) have won two out of its last three games against Prairie View A&M this season. The Panthers (12-23, 7-7) avoided a three-game series sweep in Prairie View, Texas on March 10 with an 18-15 victory.
