Box Score TULSA, Okla. – The Lady Tiger's soccer team wrapped up a two game road swing in Tulsa, Okla. without scoring a single goal. After a 3-0 loss to Tulsa on Friday, Grambling State concluded play against Oral Roberts with a 5-0 defeat, Sunday evening at the Case Soccer Complex.
"Well bummer, it was a rough weekend for our Grambling soccer team on the road going 0-2 on the weekend with humbling losses to University of Tulsa and Oral Robert," Head Coach Wagar said. "We could compete with them but didn't make the big plays we needed to when the opportunity arose. We're sitting as a team at a local diner in Tulsa waiting on our second player in the hospital this weekend from injuries, which totals five starters out this weekend alone from injuries ranging from ankles to ribs, shins, and head. As mentioned was a rough weekend. I Hope we bounce back and get healthy fast."
Oral Roberts (2-4) opened scoring in the 11th minute as McKenzie Edwards scored on a Martha Helsee assist.
The Golden Lions added a pair of goals in a two minute span. Edwards scored her second goal in the 56th minute after being assisted by Kelli Keller. In the next minute, Heslee assisted Edwards in her second goal ot the game and third of the season to give the Golden Eagles a 3-0 lead.
A Shayla Padila goal in the 78th minute stretched the deficit to 4-0. Mia Kitterman's first goal of the season in the 79th minute sealed the 5-0 victory.

Grambling State will return to home to take on Louisiana Tech. The match is set for 5:30 p.m at the GSU Soccer Complex.
