NEW ORLEANS | The Grambling State University women's bowling team competed in the JSU Sonic Boom Classic this past weekend, hosted by Jackson State University.
Grambling State went 1-12 during the tournament and finished seventh.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Grambling State dropped all five baker matches to begin the tournament on Friday, falling to Tulane, Texas Southern, Alabama State, Jackson State and Louisiana Tech
- The Lady Tigers completed the second day with five traditional matches as GSU fell to Florida A&M, Southern, Tulane, Texas Southern, Alabama State and Jackson State
- Grambling State concluded the weekend with bracket round matches, defeating Florida A&M, 4-0, before falling to Texas Southern, 4-2
UP NEXT
The Lady Tigers return to the lanes Nov. 19-21 in Montgomery, Ala. at the Hornet Classic, hosted by Alabama State University.
