Southern's (4-7 overall, 4-3 SWAC) high man was Samkelo Cele who buried 4-of-6 from downtown and produced a game-high 27 points in the loss.
The win earns Grambling the season split with the arch rival Jaguars as the Tigers
sit in third place in the SWAC men's basketball standings.
