Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Grambling won its second straight conference match with a golden goal from
Haylee O'Leary in the 96th minute for a 2-1 victory over Alabama A&M in Southwestern Athletic Conference action. The win marks the second straight SWAC victory for the Tigers.
Grambling took an early 1-0 lead when junior striker
Kailey Pena found the back of the net in the fifth minute of action as she dribbled past the goalie for her fifth goal of the season. The Tigers took a 1-0 lead into the break before Alabama A&M scored the equalizer in the second half when Braejah Washington struck a rebound off the goalkeeper into the back of the net.
Neither team could net a go-ahead goal before the end of regulation, and that's when O'Leary ended the match with her overtime goal.
