Cameron Bufford homered in the sixth inning and
Joseph Gunn added a two-run shot in the ninth inning to seal the victory. Bufford has hit seven home runs on the season and is tied for first place in the SWAC. Gunn has crushed six home runs on the year and is tied for second in the SWAC.
"Well I guess you can say we have found our stride offensively," Grambling State head coach
James Cooper said. "That has made it easier for us to pitch and play defense. We are going to need to be in all three phases on tomorrow. We have another big opponent on the road, so we will celebrate for another 24 hours and get focused on the next game on the schedule #24Hrule."
