MAGNOLIA, Ark. | Ruth Kibet and Sharon Laibich placed second and sixth, respectively, during Friday night's Lois Davis Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas University.
Kibet finished the 5000m course just behind winner Holly McIndoe, of Jacksonville College, with a time of 19:05.9. Laibach clocked a time of 20:24.3 to claim sixth. Lillian Thuo was 31st, marking a time of 22:34.7
On the men's side, Mician Myles was 45th, logging a time of 32:33.1. Anthony Davis and Dante Montaque also competed.
The Grambling State University cross country teams will compete in the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cross Country Championships on Monday, October 24 in Tallahassee, Fla.
