PENSACOLA, Fla. | The Grambling State University women's bowling team continued play at the FAMU Rattler Invitational on Saturday at the STRIKERZ Entertainment Center.
The Lady Tigers (0-10) competed in five traditional matches, falling to Jackson State, Florida A&M, Alabama State, Southern and Emmanuel College.
Alexandria Williams paced Grambling State as she finished 22nd after knocking down 877 total pins. She averaged 175.4 pinfall and rolled a team-high 188 in a 942-727 loss to Southern.Â
Morgan Bates tallied 148.2 average pinfall in the five matches, while Bre'Nay Durant recorded a 136.8 pinfall.
The Lady Tigers return to the lanes with bracket play on Sunday, opening with Texas Southern.
