Stewart Earns NAADD Honor

GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State University Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Chief of Staff, Taylor Stewart, was among 36 administrators to receive a stipend to attend the 2022 National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) convention as part of the 15th Annual Diversity Initiative, which was announced on Monday.
 
"On behalf of the NAADD Executive Committee, I would like to congratulate all of our 2022 Diversity Initiative Stipend recipients," stated Michael Oblinger, Senior Associate AD at the University of Connecticut and chair of the Diversity Initiative Committee. "Like in past years, we have had a very strong applicant pool, and we are extremely excited to offer these selected applicants the opportunity to attend the 2022 NAADD Convention. In its 15th year, the Diversity Initiative Program grants winners the ability to enhance their career development through networking and educational opportunities. We look forward to welcoming them in Las Vegas to celebrate with our past winners from the 2020 cohort."
 
Stewart will also attend the Fundamentals of Athletic Development (FOAD) sessions which will take place on June 26 at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
 
"This is an incredible opportunity and I'm honored to be chosen," Stewart said. "I am excited and honored to be selected for this initiative. I look forward to engaging with fellow athletic development professionals from across the country."
