JACKSON, Miss. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team wrapped up its weekend on Sunday at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Women's Tennis Pod with a 4-1 defeat to Florida A&M at the JSU Tennis.
Grambling State (0-6) opened the weekend with a 4-0 loss to Alabama A&M on Saturday.
DOUBLES
- Grambling State took the doubles point to grab a 1-0 lead in the match
- At No. 1, the team of Brittney Combest and Lugile Ntuli defeated Sierra Sandy and Aylen Hubeaut, 6-2
- The team of Ana Ochoa and Takudzwa Mawisire knocked off Susan Aalinas and Claudia Sumaia, 6-4 at No. 3
SINGLES
- Florida A&M sealed the match with victories at No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6.
