KANSAS CITY, Mo. | Grambling State University redshirt senior
Cameron Christon was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Team on Tuesday.

Christon, who was selected to the District 22 Second Team, led Grambling State in scoring, averaging 13.1 points per game. In addition, he averaged 3.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. The Allen, Texas native shot 43 percent from the floor and 40 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.

Christon, who earned All-SWAC Second Team honors, was joined on the All-Distrct 22 Second Team with Bethune-Cookman's Joe French, Alabama A&M's Garrett Hicks, Jackson State's Jayveous McKinnis and Nicholls State's Ty Gordon.

Jalen Johnson (Alabama A&M), Tyrone Lyons (Southern), Jayden Saddler (Southern) MJ Randolph (Florida A&M) and Derek St. Hilaire (New Orleans) headlined first-team honors.

Southern's Sean Woods was tabbed the District 22 Coach of the Year.
