GSU Bowling Finishes SWAC Round-Up

D'IBERVILLE, Miss. | The Grambling State University women's bowling team wrapped up play in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Roundup in D'Iberville, Miss. on Sunday afternoon

Alexandria Williams led GSU, capturing 13th place in the individual standings. She posted a total score of 2,600 for an average of 185.71. Bre'Nay Durant knocked down 2,417 total pins for an average of 172.64.

Kiaya Bates (139.90), Morgan Bates (139.17), Tiara Moore (137.77) and Karley Anderson (127.57) also competed for GSU. 

Overall, the Lady Tigers finished in eighth place after completing 14 matches over the course of three day. In Sunday's action, Grambling suffered defeats to Alabama A&M (935-824), Southern (1042-693), Florida A&M (897-772) and Prairie View A&M (873-709).

Grambling State now gears up to travel to Jackson, Miss. to compete in the JSU Sonic Boom Invitational on Jan. 20-22.
