DALLAS, Texas | The Grambling State University women's bowling team pulled in win number two on the first day of the Lady Techster's Classic.
The Lady Tigers defeated St. Anselm (806-706) while dropping baker-style matches to Tulane (1039-725), Sam Houston State (972-829), Southern (935-754), and Adelphi (775-648).
R-So. Bre'Nay Durant led the team with twenty-two strikes across all five matches.
Grambling State returns to action on Saturday facing host Louisiana Tech and Vanderbilt in baker-style matches. The day will continue with three traditional-style matches against St. Anselm, Tulane, and Sam Houston. Play begins at 11:00 a.m.
