DALLAS, Texas | The Grambling State University women's bowling team struggled on the final day of the Lady Techster's Classic. 

The Lady Tigers  went 0-4 to start the day, losing traditional-style matches to Southern (808-749),  Adelphi (776-722), Louisiana Tech (989-644), and Vanderbilt (987-774). The day concluded with a best of seven baker-style match against St. Anselm to determine seventh place. After a rocky first three games, the team pulled together, winning four in a row to defeat St. Anselm 4.5-2.5 and take seventh place in the tournament. 

The team placed four bowlers in the top 30 in overall pin count. So. Kiaya Bates (26th-1049) lead the team, followed by So. Alexandria Williams (28th-1017), R-So. Bre'Nay Durant (29th-927), and Tiara Moore (30th-924).

Grambling State returns to action at the Mid-Winter Invitational hosted by Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Arkansas, February 17-19, 2023.
