GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling University Department of Athletics has announced the addition of Anico Kimble to the staff as the new Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Sales & Operations.
"I am elated to welcome Anico on board," said GSU Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Trayvean Scott. "He has already hit the ground running in improving our day to day operations in the ticket office."
Kimble enters his first year as the Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Sales and Operations at Grambling State University.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Kimble received a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Mississippi in 2017, where he became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He also completed a Master of Science in Sports Commerce & Hospitality Management from the University of Memphis in 2020.
Kimble comes to Grambling from Louisiana Tech where he worked as the Director of Ticket Operations. During his tenure he was essential in all revenue generation components for Women's Soccer, Basketball, Softball, as well Men's Basketball, Baseball, and Football.
Before beginning at Louisiana Tech, he was a key part of the event management team for the University of Memphis athletics program as well as supported in the revenue generation efforts for the Memphis Grizzlies.
