GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University baseball team earned its 20th Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) victory on Saturday afternoon, defeating Arkansas-Pine Bluff 15-11 at Wilbert Ellis Field.
The win improved the Tigers to 25-22 overall and 20-5 in SWAC play. The Golden Lions fell to 17-29 and 9-17 in conference.
Grambling State had a big day a the plate, registering 11 hits with two home runs. Keylon Mack and Cameron Bufford both smacked their team-leading 12 homers of the year. Bufford went 2-for-4 with five RBI. Mack was 1-for-4 on the day.
Connor Rudy (8-4) notched the win on the mound, working five innings and allowing four runs on seven hits, He also registered four Ks.
