GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University Department of Athletics will hold their annual Fan Day, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 12.
This year Grambling State football, men's and women's cross country, volleyball, and women's soccer teams will be featured during Fan Day. Fans will also get to see special performances from the World Famed marching band and Orchesis dance company.
The Grambling Women's Soccer team will kick off the day with a scrimmage starting at 9:00 AM. Following the women's soccer scrimmage, the Grambling Football team will take to the field for their own scrimmage, scheduled for 10:00 AM at Eddie G. Robinson Stadium.
In the afternoon, the excitement will move to the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center, where the Grambling Volleyball team will engage in their scrimmage at 11:30 AM.
Admission to all scrimmages is free, and the athletics department encourages everyone to come out and support the student-athletes as they prepare for their respective seasons. At the conclusion of the volleyball scrimmage fans will have the opportunity to interact, meet and sign autographs with Grambling State coaches and student-athletes. Kids zone will also be open inside the assembly center during the day's festivities.
Season tickets are currently on sale in the GSU Ticket Office by calling (318) 274-2625. Renewed season ticket holders may be able to pick up their printed season tickets at Fan Day. Fans will need to email their first and last name and contact number to GSU Ticket Office at: gsutickets@gram.edu by
August 9th for pick up on Fan Day.
