GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State University Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Trayvean D. Scott has officially announced the hiring of Bianca Jackson as the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Academic Services.
Jackson comes to Grambling State from Louisiana Tech where she served as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Success Services. While at La. Tech, she provided direct oversight for academic support for Track & Field, Cross Country, and Football Offense monitoring eligibility requirements and advising student-athletes in pursuit of graduation.
As the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Success Services she managed student-workers as well as the "Dogs with a Cause" program. In that role, she organized and implemented academic programs that contributed to the educational and personal growth of La. Tech's student-athletes and handled tutoring responsibilities as well.
Jackson earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology and General Studies from Louisiana Tech. She was also a member of the Lady Techster's Track and Field program.
