Montgomery, Al.| Grambling State University's softball team showcased their resilience and competitive spirit in a doubleheader, facing Tuskegee University and Florida A&M University on Feb 24. The Tigers experienced a mix of outcomes, losing a closely contested match against Tuskegee but bouncing back with a convincing victory over Florida A&M.
In the first game against Tuskegee University, GSU battled fiercely but ultimately fell short with a final score of 2-5. Despite an early lead with
Sherrell Matthews's two-RBI single in the second inning, Tuskegee's strong offensive performance propelled them to victory.

However, Grambling State quickly regrouped for the second game against Florida A&M, delivering an impressive 6-1 victory. The Tigers' offense came alive, led by
Kamryn Broussard's stellar performance with three runs scored. Pitcher
Dacia Richard delivered a standout performance, allowing only one run and securing the win for Grambling State.
