Arlington, Tx.| On day two of the Boerner Invitational hosted by UT Arlington Grambling faced an early doubleheader against Incarnate Word falling short in both games.
 
 In the first game, despite a brave effort, they fell short with a score of 2-10. The team showed resilience, with Katelynn Walls delivering a notable triple, but Incarnate Word built a strong defensive game striking out and creating an early lead. 


Building off momentum from game one, Incarnate Word was quick to stop runs leading GSU into the top of the 4^thscoreless. With a double from Ta'mya Johnson lady tiger Deija Russell was brought home to put us on the board.Grambling State fought hard but ultimately lost 2-9. Despite a solid effort from Jordan Hodge on the mound, UIW's hitters proved powerful.
